This project is a for a travel book store in Richmond, BC. The goals of the project were to target the "armchair traveller" who could not go far due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. The project also needed to address the issues that the Covid-19 pandemic brought to the functionality of retail stores. The concept takes a contemporary spin on the character of a traditional European bookstore. The layout focuses on taking the customers on a journey and travelling without leaving your chair by incorporating technology to mimic a train ride experience and offering interactive elements throughout the space.
